Our client in the retail industry, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join it's growing team in Duluth, GA.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of a biweekly hourly payroll
- Assist managers with time and attendance procedures including approvals and changes
- Follow-up with supervisors and managers on missing or incomplete documentation
- Import time and pay files into ADP WFN ( Time, Commission, Bonus)
- Assist with identifying and resolving payroll and HRIS system discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll files, procedures and payment back up for each pay cycle
- Respond to employees and management regarding payroll and benefits inquires
- Answer garnishment and child support order notices in a timely manner
- Assist with setting up multi state garnishments, tax liens and child support orders
- Assist with Annual Benefit Open Enrollment and day to day benefit administration
- Assist with ensuring final pay records are in compliance as per standard operating procedures
- Monthly and ad hoc reporting
- Other special projects as needed
Desired Skills:
- Associate Degree in business or accounting
- 1-3 years minimum of full cycle payroll processing
- ADP WFN experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with superior customer service and time management skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of payroll processes and best practices
