Salary: Market range: $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience.
Position Overview:
The Senior Tax Accountant will manage various aspects of tax preparation and compliance, ensuring federal, state, and foreign returns are prepared accurately and filed on time, while responding to tax notices and assisting with audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file federal, state, and franchise tax returns, along with quarterly estimates and extensions.
- Prepare foreign tax returns and payments, and respond to related tax notices.
- Research tax issues to determine appropriate tax treatments and reporting.
- Maintain tax depreciation schedules across company entities.
- Support documentation for audits and ensure compliance with property tax and licensing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of income tax experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with tax preparation software; familiarity with OneSource preferred.
- Experience with Sage FAS or similar depreciation programs.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-focused.
