Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller - Hybrid - Atlanta, GA

Position Overview:

Our client, a leading and rapidly growing company in the construction industry with $75M in revenue and is in a high growth mode, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Controller. This role is pivotal to the company's growth trajectory, offering a unique opportunity to be groomed as the next Corporate Controller as they experience this tremendous growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all transactional accounting functions, including overseeing a team of 3-5 staff members.
• Lead and perform month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements and reports for internal use.
• Provide senior management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress.
• Manage and optimize the functionality of accounting software, specifically NetSuite, and ensure proper utilization of Excel
• Coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting management experience, preferably within the Construction industry or a similar service provider organization.
• Strong proficiency with a large ERP software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong Analytical skills
• Experience working with Operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 +/- plus bonus (flexible for the right candidate).
